The Board of Education of Frederick County acknowledges today’s announcement from Frederick County Executive Jessica Fitzwater’s Office regarding the resignation of Board of Education member Ms. Nancy Allen. We thank Ms. Allen for her service to the Board of Education and her commitment to the students, staff, and families of FCPS. Board President Rae Gallagher shared, “The Board extends our sincere gratitude to Ms. Allen for her thoughtful insight, preparation, and commitment during her service. Ms. Allen’s perspectives strengthened Board discussions, and we are grateful for the time and dedication she invested in supporting our schools and community.”
