Important Dates to Remember

  • Friday, October 23, 2026: no later than 4:00 PM - Only complete electronic packages submitted via email will be accepted. Submit your package to [email protected].
  • Thursday, November 4, 2026: In-person Applicant Interview Panel
  • Thursday, November 19, 2026: Google Meeting, 3 - 4 PM - Candidate Orientation
  • Thursday, December 10, 2026: Candidate Speeches, Linganore High School, 9 AM - 12:30 PM - FCASC Presentation
  • Tuesday, January 5, 2027: 4:30 - 7 PM in Central Office Board Room - Candidate Town Hall/Candidate Forum (Snow date, January 7 , 2027)
  • Tuesday January 5 - Friday, January 29, 2027: SMOB Voting - Students cast online ballots
  • Thursday, February 4, 2027: 9 AM - 12:30 PM at Learning & Leadership Center - FCASC General Assembly school delegates cast official SMOB ballots
  • Spring 2027: New SMOB will have the opportunity to job shadow the current SMOB
